So Heather and I have been in Paris for a couple of days now and we figure that it was time to catch everyone up on what we have been doing
We have been to the Louvre and seen the Mona Lisa... amoung many other beautiful works of art. We are sad though because the day we went we were so low on energy that it was not nearly as great as it could have been.
The same day that we did the Louvre we also visited Notre Dame. That some day after a 5 hour nap back at the hostel we visited the Arc de Triomphe and the Grande Arc for so night photography fun!
We have seen the Effiel Tower
Today we ventured out to Versailles via RER. It is one of the most amazing buildings we have ever seen and a highlight of the trip thus far. We can now understand why there would have been a pesant's revolt!
Today I learnt about wearing a skirt in Europe the hard way:
1. do not walk over metro grates while wearing a skirt
2. one should not recline with legs on the seat across from you (even with crosses legs) on the train, unless you want a creepy french guy to come and sit next to you! No worries though, he did not try and talk to me and when I got my journal out and began writing, he got the point and got up and left.
I think that is about it for now!

its rainy and windy, here in bc. its a different kind of living the good life. its more reserved, and "days spent inside"ish.

speaking of postcard, i spent most of my day at the worship arts department, not hanging out with profs. i am lame.

Life out here pales in comparison to your adventure. Go for it - drink it in! That's a metaphor...not to be taken as license to hit every pub on your travels (oh no...sounding like a parent).
