We're packed and ready to go. It looks like Michelle has more stuff than me (the blue and the red bag) but my bag seems to be heavier, so I guess that works out. The plan for tonight has always been to stay up all night so that we would sleep on the plane and ideally wake up semi-rested in Paris when we land at 9am Wednesday morning. That may or may not work out, but we do seem to be managing the staying up all night part. Michelle's dad will phone at 4am to let us know he's on his way, and then the adventure will begin.
I'm feeling a little nervous right now, that typical I'm-sure-I've-forgotten-something type feeling. Also, an incredible hunger has just now hit me and I'm going to have to see what Michelle has to eat in this place. Tomorrow we'll be drinking cafe au lait in Paris!

It's 7 am. You are just an hour away from your flight. Holy crap! Hope your flight goes really well. Glad we could see you one last time before you disappeared for 2 months.
Show those Europeans how it's done!
